Check the Hotel before Booking

Check the Hotel before Booking

When you are choosing a hotel in Eastern Europe there are few questions that you need to ask them before settling down for the night. They may not offer what you require so you need to check out what they have first. They may offer facilities nowhere near to what you would encounter on luxury Tanzania safari holidays.

If you or a fellow guest has a disability you may want to ask if they provide access for guests with disabilities. Several hotels were built at a time when this was not considered something that they needed to have. So check with the hotel to make sure that they have the proper facilities that someone with a disability will need while staying with them.

Not every hotel will accept your credit cards. Some will take your credit card but attach a fee to it, which will be 10% of your bill. Always check what form of payment is accepted before you book your hotel in Eastern Europe.

Smoking does not have the same restrictions as it does in Western countries. There may be no non-smoking rooms available at the hotel you are looking to stay at. If a hotel is completely non-smoking then it will be advertised but mostly there will be some form of smoking allowed.

Though it may be hard to believe several hotels in Eastern Europe do not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are not very common in Eastern Europe so they are not common in their hotels as well. Find out if the hotel has an air conditioning unit before you book it, especially in the hot summer months.

Though there may not be all the amenities you expect at some Eastern European hotels, there are several hotels that offer excellent accommodating services for inexpensive prices.
