Ljubljana - best city in Eastern Europe

Many travelers and students get excited to pack their bags when it comes to a trip to Europe. But most travelers land in the famous cities like London, Berlin, Rome, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Paris which are well known. They do not know what Eastern fringes have to offer. If you are a budget traveler and looking for something different and unique, then pack your bags to Eastern Europe. The first thing that crosses your mind when you think of Eastern Europe is the history of wars and the tough Communist regime. For now just forget about the history and look into the natural beauty that Eastern Europe has to offer.

The exuberant countryside with its pleasant coastlines, beautiful and colorful mountains, incomparable and unusual architecture and not to forget the buzzing nightlife makes Eastern Europe a unique tourist destination. In recent years cities like Krakow and Prague are not calm and quite anymore, they are now the buzzing entertainment spots. Last year we went to luxury Tanzania safari holidays and had unforgettable moments. This year we are visiting Ljubljana. Without any doubts Ljubljana is one of the most ravishing cities in Eastern Europe. It is cuddled with alpine valley and straddled by the Ljubljana River. It is a perfect city for the pedestrians. During the warmer months the side walk is filled with café. Ljubljana is an old town loaded with amazing museums and galleries. We can find a great mix of fancy townhouses, old bridges and churches. Even the ultra modern government buildings compliment this historical city. Some of the favorite sights to visit in Ljubljana are the Ljubljana Castle, Križanke- an open theatre, and Dragon Bridge. If you are a lover of water sports then you must visit the glorious lake Bled with the fairytale castle. Here you can hike and bike.
