Romania

The beauty of Romania was greatly shadowed by communism for more than 40 years which created a lot of misinterpretations regarding the natural beauty of this country. Due to major political crisis and lack of transparency, Romania has not been visited by a lot of tourists earlier, especially during the reign of communist regime. Romania is the only country in Europe that still has virgin forests and this makes many tourists want to visit this country.
Romania is located in the South East of Europe. It is on Danube’s inferior basin. You can relish yourself with beautiful mountains, the Danube River, the river delta, hills, plains, beaches and other great relief forms all in between the Carpathian Mountains to the beach of Black Sea. In terms of area it is the eleventh in Europe and seventy ninth in the world, covering 238.400 km2.Romania shares its borders with Republic of Moldavia, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Ukraine.
Tourists are welcomed with great pleasure in this country and Romanian hospitality is one of the best in Europe.There only two places in the world where I felt the hospitality was great, one was in a hotel called Sevrus in Romania and other in a Manchester b and b.
The Danube Delta is very famous in Romania and is one of the Romanian reserves where millions of fishes and birds have their habitats. The Danube Delta is one of the largest reserves in Europe and is famous for its beauty. Many creatures and rare birds make the ecosystem around the Danube delta an absolute beauty. Thankfully this ecosystem is protected by the law and therefore has a well preserved natural beauty. The country is also blessed with many natural therapeutic spas and has the highest number of natural spas held by a single country in Europe. All of these make Romania one of the most desired destinations in Eastern Europe for vacationers.
